I'm also a freelance Stylist and the Editor of this blog where I write each week about things that inspire me from house tours, photography, styling , renovation projects and new designs.
While everything I do comes from a place of passion first, like everybody else I have to pay the bills so once in a while, you may see a sponsored post amongst my usual posts.
What is a sponsored post on BODIE and FOU? I emphasise the "on BODIE and FOU" part because on a lot of blogs, a sponsored post is written by someone else other than the author of the blog and is meant to push a specific brand by the means of an advertorial. I don't do those. I do not accept sponsored posts written by other people, simply because they are not me and therefore, they will not write the way I do. I don't claim being a fantastic writer but it's my blog, it's where I share things that inspire me and the content of this blog and my posts are a reflection of my vision and style.
But what I do sometimes, is working with brands on their SEO* campaigns and in those cases, what is important for them is to have a keyword like "interior design" featured in a post where the content is relevant to them.
When I do, you will see very often the words "In Association With" at the end of the post but the article won't necessarily about them/the brand. It will be about something that I find of interest and I think you'll find of interest. If I feel the keyword they want can naturally be included in the post, I will include it it but I will NOT write about a brand I feel is miles away from the style of my blog neither will I use the photos of their products if I don't like them. End of the story.
Sponsor of the Day:
The Sponsor of the day is a brand that is paying me a fee for mentioning their products on the blog. I make it very obvious to my readers so they know when this is the case. Once again, I'm very picky about the brands I work with so it really has to fit with the style of my blog or I feel the products would be of interest to my readers.
I've spent the past 7 years crafting the look and content of this blog and it is important for me to maintain my editorial independence.
Banner advertising:
234 x 100 pixels banner ad spaces are available on the homepage on the right hand corner for 3/6 or 12 months. If you have a business, this is a great way to remind my readers about your company each time they visit my blog.
I'm very appreciative of my sponsors and if I feel the content of my posts is relevant, then I'll mention them throughout the year but nothing is compulsory.
For instance, one of my yearly sponsor is BRUME window sticker. I was one of their clients long before they became a sponsor so mentioning them when my home was featured in ELLE DECORATION was a no-brainer.
FOU's Little Black Book:
This is something that is very special to my heart that I have started recently. As part of my daily job, I travel a lot and I'm exposed to a lot of beautiful things so I have decided to put together my own Little Black Book of Interiors & Inspiration to keep track of the most inspiring places to shop, eat, dine and stay around the world. I will also add suppliers for home improvement and Interior design projects and if these companies have paid to be listed, there will be a note text to it. If you are interested in appearing on FOU's little Black Book, you can pay straight away by using the Paypal button below. If I like your brand a lot, I'll probably get in touch with you afterwards to write a post.
Styling: Last but not least, I'm also available for styling job. You can check my styling portfolio here . I often work in tandem with my brother Francois Kong who is an Interior Photographer (you can check his portfolio here) so if you need an A-team to style your collection, do not hesite to contact me to discuss your project.

Hello,
I've seen the pink desk and chair of your little girl in Pinterest, and I was wondering if you would still have the paint reference for it.
Merci beaucoup !
